As part of the development team, focusing on product listings and content structure. On a Wordpress base I was tasked with creating a custom url scheme combining products, product categories, and product variations in a intuitive way. Adding Lazy and size aware image loading to serve the right image at the right time. Typeface: Pressura Mono Regular - Colours: #f6f6f4 & #000000 - Development: With inspiration from ustwo, the site front-end is built as an universal SPA in the React framework, fetching content through a REST API from a WordPress installation, caching everything through both Service Workers, where available, and an app cache layer, to keep the network requests to a minimum. The server back-end consists of a Linode VPS running ubuntu with nginx routing http requests through http2 where possible (secured by a Let's Encrypt certificate), serving the front-end through a NodeJS server running in a Passenger service. A lot of fancy words and techniques for a, in the end, simple and snappy experience. You can view the source code on Github
